How our articles are written and checked

Our guides help skilled workers who want to work in Germany. We write them with the help of AI. To make sure they are correct, we follow a fixed process.

Only documented facts

Statements on visas, residence, recognition, work, tax and insurance come from a fact collection. Every entry has an official source, such as the law on gesetze-im-internet.de or the page of the responsible authority. If it is not there, we do not write it.

Figures only with source and date

Amounts, salaries and thresholds are kept in a separate table of figures, each with its source and date. Salaries come from the Entgeltatlas of the Federal Employment Agency.

Independent checks before publication

Since October 2026, three different AI systems check our guides in each language against this fact collection before they are published. The strictest finding applies: we correct the article, or it is not published. Since October 2026, all other texts are checked before publication by our own AI checking system against the same fact collection. The checks also cover logic, scope and completeness, for example whether a rule applies to EU citizens or to people from other countries.

Daily checks

An automatic check goes through all pages every day for broken links, wrong language links and known types of errors.

Human spot checks

No person reads every single article before publication. The responsible person regularly reads samples.

No legal advice

Our articles do not replace advice on an individual case. What the responsible authority says is binding.
